Scaffold Design Training Course
Scaffold Design Decoded
Principles of Scaffold Engineering
Scaffold Design Decoded is a practical blended scaffold design appreciation course that helps contractors, temporary works coordinators, managers and construction professionals understand when design input is needed, what good design information looks like, and how better briefs, drawings and communication support safer project delivery.

Who is the course for?
Scaffold Design Decoded is designed for people who are involved with scaffolds, procurement, supervision, management, and who need to better understand the design process and how it affects project delivery.

Scaffolding Teams
Scaffolders, supervisors, contract managers, estimators, scaffold inspectors and managers who need to better understand the scaffold design process and how it affects project delivery.

The blended format also gives delegates flexibility, allowing them to complete the online learning in their own time before attending the practical session.
Blended course format
1
Online learning
Delegates complete approximately 8 hours of self-paced online learning through the bespoke AXS LMS platform before attending the practical day.
2
Face-to-face session
Delegates then attend a full practical training day focused on discussion, worked examples, demonstrations and application of the online learning.
3
Blended learning
This structure allows delegates to complete the core learning flexibly in their own time before using the face-to-face session for practical understanding and application.
Note: The online learning must be completed in full before attending the face-to-face training day. AXS will review completion records before the event.
Scaffold Design Decoded is delivered as a blended learning programme combining self-paced online learning with a face-to-face practical day.
